PENSARE MIGRANTE takes place in Rome from Friday, April 29th until Sunday, May 1st.

EVIDENCE has been selected for the fifth LUMIX Festival for Young Photojournalism
Romina Vinci and Ella Kiviniemi made the story about the refugee Kidane Berhe during their web documentary workshop at DMJX in the spring 2015.
The fifth LUMIX Festival for Young Photojournalism takes place in Hanover from Wednesday, June 15th until Sunday, June 19th, 2016.
Romina is a photographer specialised in migration who just accepted a teaching job in the deep North of Italy.
The judging of the Multimedia Division at CPOY (College Photographer of the Yea ) selected "EVIDENCE" among the winners .
Ella Kiviniemi and Romina Vinci has won Silver in the Small Team Multimedia category for their story "Evidence".
The CPOY judging takes places at the Missouri School of Journalism on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia.
Sideluck Editorial features "Evidence" on their website. Sideluck Editorial is a new platform, which has the aim of showcasing the best multimedia presented worldwide.
Also, the website gives tips and advices to those, who want to work with this media. Therefore, the website also has a short interview with Ella and Romina.
For the fifth time in Amsterdam, Slideluck brings together diverse groups of people, artwork, food, music, ideas and perspectives under one roof on September 27th.
The Official Slideluck Amsterdam V has presented artist selection. The list of co-operating photographers and imagemakers includes: Simone Aprile, Sandro Bocci, Savas Boyraz, Paolo Cirio, Ernst Coppejans, Thomas Leveritt, Sharon Harper, Takashi Kawashima, Ella Kiviniemi and Romina Vinci, Katrin Korfmann, Anouk Kruithof, Kadir van Lohuizen, Marcela Magno, Patricia Willocq, Michael Wolf and Sarah Wilson. Other than that there will be some surprise elements by conspiracy theorists, Russian hipsters from the 1950's and your youngest model ever.
"Evidence" is one out of only four stories to be selected for the first edition of Phototales - multimedia projects at the XIV edition of the "Fotografia International Festival of Rome".The festival will be held at the Museum of contemporary Art in Rome from the 8th of October to the 17th of January.

The image is a valuable witness of history, damning evidence of reality. So the work of Romina Vinci and Ella Kiviniemi is aptly called Evidence. Here photography expands itself: we are not only observing the portraits of the protagonist – an Eritrean migrant spending his days in a Danish asylum center – but we also look beyond his eyes, into his memory and unconsciousness, thanks to the videos shot by him during his hard journey across the desert and sea. On the 4th of September the Slide Luck show is held in Rome. The show is an evening of photography projections and food.
